Daddie's Favourite Sauce

This bottle once contained Daddie's Favourite Sauce, a brand of brown sauce sold in the United Kingdom and Ireland.  The company began producing the brown sauce in 1904 and then began to make a line of ketchup as well in the 1930's.  Daddie's Favourite was similar to HP Sauce, but without tamarind or tomatoes.  Today the company is owned by the HJ Heinz Company.

The bottle is almost 5 1/2" tall, and it appears to be an early example with a sheared lip at the top.
